Exeter Tuesday 6 a side news end of season

Exeter's popular six-a-side football league, aptly named Exeter Tuesday, concluded its 14th week yesterday, marking the end of the season. The weekly face-offs are much more than friendly neighbourhood rivalries; they embody the raw spirit and love of football.

Premier League

6 Bricks scooped the top spot with an impressive 25 points from 12 wins. Thomas Jane of TGFC shone, scoring a total of 4 goals, the highest in this division. In an exhilarating game, he helped TGFC crush Wacko FC 11 - 4.

Division 1

The Boys emerged victorious with 24 points from their 12 wins. Regan Gent from We Argue FC led the charge as the top scorer, netting in 2 goals in their 3 - 7 loss to The Boys.

Division 2

 Internacional reigned supreme, tallying 25 points from 12 games. A special mention goes to Jon Mowday of Werder Beermen, who fired in 5 goals, marking himself as the top scorer of his division.

Meanwhile, Puyol Pants Down triumphed in Division 3, securing 24 points from 12 victories. Hudson Cross, who scored a total of 5 goals for Puyol Pants Down, was the top scorer of this division.

However, the star of the final week of the season was undoubtedly Daniel Eaton of Exonian FC. His spectacular performance earned him the title of the Most Valuable Player of the week. His team, Exonian FC, also delivered a stellar performance, thrashing Topsham Tips FC 9 - 0.
