EXETER TUESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 11
The Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side Football League proved its mettle once again last night as teams battled it out in week 11 of the season.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Key matches in the Premier League saw 6 Bricks taking down Rigor Mortys with a 9-4 victory. Leaders Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels put on an impressive performance, defeating Inter Row Z 6-2 to move 2 points clear of Inter at the top. Thirsty Beaver FC and HEAV CRESS ended in a 2-2 draw while Wacko FC triumphed over Crackin Plurrs with a 9-5 win, Will Burwood netting 4 times for Wacko.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Henry Chan from The Mavericks shone as he led his team to a 3-1 victory over Come Digne With Me. The Boys registered a resounding 6-1 win against Magic Mike And The Boys while We Argue FC defeated East Ham 4-1. Leaders Strawberry Moussa took on a guest team with Claudias Dream Team away this week so picked up a 5-0 win to stay top.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw Jimmy Ricketts from Clout score a brace as his team won a thriller against leaders Saints 4-3. Albanian Rozzers outclassed Lads On Toure with a 9-0 win while Tiki Taka succumbed to Brexit Ball, losing 6-1. Spoono Fernandes and Chubby Alonso's match resulted in a 3-3 draw. Saints remain top but only on goal difference from Brexit Ball.
DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, the spotlight was on Connor Blake of Sands United FC Exeter, who scored a total of 5 goals to help Sands to a thrilling 6-5 win over Gundis. Only Fools And Ballers lost to Pique Blinders 6-2 while leaders PRIVATE FC posted a 7-1 win over Partners. Win Some Lose Some fell to Exonian FC, 6-2.
The standout player of the week was undoubtedly Aaron Pearse from Brexit Ball, who was named the Most Valued Player for his outstanding performance and two goals. The Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side Football League continues to be a thrilling showcase of local football talent.
