Exeter Tuesday 6 a side news - match day 2

Exhilarating football continued under the floodlights last night at our Exeter Tuesday’s 6-a-side Football league. Week 2 of the season saw impressive performances from teams across four divisions, as players vied for supremacy on the pitch.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, a spectacular display of offensive prowess put Wacko FC on top against WSFC with an overwhelming 13-3 victory. Will Burwood, leading the charge for Wacko FC, showed his mettle, topping the scoring charts with five goals. Meanwhile, 6 Bricks put in a solid display against Strawberry Moussa, limiting their chances and securing a 4-0 win. Thirsty Beaver also made it two wins from two as they defeated Heav Cres 4-2 while Inter Row Z won a thriller 6-4 against The Boys.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 saw a thrilling draw match between Maesteg Mafia and Magic Mike And The Boys, with both teams scoring four goals each. However, the top scorer of the division was William Hart from Rigor Mortys, who netted five goals, leading his team to a 6-3 victory over Crackin Plurrs. Saints have made a good start to life in Div 1 as they picked up another win to stay top, beating Come Digne With Me 4-2. We Argue had a comfortable evening as they won 8-0 against new team Greggs United.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, leaders Claudias Dream Boys dominated the pitch with a 7-2 win over Albanian Rozzers. The top scorer for the division was Ollie Blackmore from Claudias Dream Boys, contributing three goals to his team's win. Boyzees are second on goal difference as they won 5-0 against Private FC while Pique Blinders had a 6-3 away win at Chubby Alonso's.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Sands United FC Exeter came out strong against Exonian Fc, scoring seven goals to two. The division's top scorer, Connor Blake, from Sands United FC Exeter, found the back of the net four times, laying a strong foundation for his team's win. Partners have made a good start to the season winning their opening two matches, last night they won 5-2 at Gundis. Spoono Fernandes defeated Win Some Lose Some 5-3 while EX4 shared a 1-1 draw with Only Fools and Ballers.

While there were many outstanding performances, the most valued player of the week was Finlay Short from Saints. His exceptional skills and consistency on the field played a significant role in his team's 4-2 victory over Come Digne With Me, proving once again that football is as much about individual brilliance as it is about team effort.

As the season progresses, we can look forward to more such thrilling matches and extraordinary performances from players in the Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side Football League.

A big thank you to Neil for organising and running things on the night and thank you to all our referee's and players. Good luck next week!
