Exeter Tuesday 6 a side news - match day 5

EXETER TUESDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 5

The fever of football was high in the air as the Exeter Tuesday League progressed into its fifth week on it's return after the Christmas break. The thrilling matches under the floodlights saw some fantastic performances.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Wacko FC dominated the pitch against 6 Bricks with a convincing 4-0 victory. HEAV CRESS and Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels served up a seven-goal thriller, with the latter narrowly edging out a 4-3 victory. However, the most significant margin of victory was registered by Inter Row Z, who defeated Rigor Mortys with a decisive 6-1 triumph. The spotlight was on Will Broadberry of Inter Row Z, who topped the scoring charts this week with an impressive hat-trick. The other game saw an entertaining 2-2 draw between Crackin Plurss and Thirsty Beaver.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 saw a clash between Come Digne With Me and We Argue FC, with the latter emerging victorious with a 2-0 win. We did have some teams away in Div 1 this week so there were wins for Moussa, The Boys and Claudia.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 had its share of the action with Albanian Rozzers sealing a 2-0 victory against Tiki Taka, while Saints secured a resounding 8-2 win against Chubby Alonso's, thanks to Josh Jays, who contributed three goals to the tally. Lads On Toure rose to the top of the table with a tight 2-1 win over Clout while Spoono Fernandes secured a 3-1 in over Brexit Ball.

DIVISION THREE

The action in Division 3 was no less exciting. Pique Blinders enjoyed a comfortable win against Partners, with Ben Tucker scoring twice in their 6-2 victory. Private FC enjoyed a 5-1 win over Gundis while Exonian scored the only goal in their 1-0 win against Sands. Win Some Lose Some picked up a 5-0 win with Cunning Stunts away this week.

With these scintillating performances, anticipation is high for the forthcoming fixtures when we should have the full roster of team back in action. The competition is heating up, and we can't wait to see what the next week of matches will bring.

A big thank you to Neil and all our referee's after a well deserved Christmas break. Good luck to all teams next week and Happy New Year.
