New Exeter Tuesday 6 a side underway at Exwick!!!

It was a chilly evening down at Exwick Sports Hub as our new Exeter Tuesday 6 a side league kicked off the first season of 2023. Apologies to a handful of teams who weren't able to get in, the league is very popular and it can take time to get a spot. Big thank you to Neil and all our referee's along with all our teams on the opening night. I will sort through the winners photo's Neil took and get them posted on the Facebook group, slightly different format to the match reports below.

PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS 

There were wins for champions Wacko and last seasons runners up FC. RO on match day 1. Newly promoted MunchyJim and C.F Murrayball also picked up maximum points. We had a number of hat-trick scorers in the Prem while Mario PSL (FC. RO) and James Watts Barciela (C.F Murrayball) both went one better with four each.

DIVISION ONE RESULTS

We saw some really close games in Div 1 and a dominant performance by new team Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels in their first game, their forward Ryan White hit six of their seven goals. Newly promoted Inter Row Z also got off to a winning start while the points were shared in the other two games.

DIVISION TWO RESULTS 

The two promoted sides Longbrook Wanderers and Giroud Sandstorm found the step up difficult with both losing their opening games. Strawberry Moussa top the table while their were wins for Tiki Taka, We Argue and Ollies Dragons. George Dennis of Tiki Taka bagged all three goals in their game.

DIVISION THREE RESULTS

Div 3 is looking like it's going to be an exciting season with four really close games to kick us off. Balotellitubies top the table on goal difference after a narrow victory. JJ Studs also picked up a win in another close game while the points were shared in the other two games. Despite being on the losing side this week well done to Jamie Coles who scored four times for Win Some Lose Some.
