The inaugural week of the Swindon Monday 6-a-side football league was a spectacle to behold, with exhilarating action witnessed in Division 1 and Division 2.

In Division 1, BBF FC made an astounding start to the season, annihilating Expected Toulouse with a convincing 8-0 victory to top the table. This was the most lopsided result of the week, indicating BBF FC's dominance and setting high expectations for their future matches.

Pique Blinders and Old Town Langers delivered a well-fought 1-1 draw, whilst Klopps And Robbers emerged victorious over Only Put Matip In with a thrilling 8-5 scoreline. Murder On Zidanes Floor also kicked off their campaign on a positive note by defeating Moyes In The Hood 2-0.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Well Wear Rubber Gloves Then began their season with a remarkable 7-2 win over "Swindon HKers". Bill Oddie's U19's managed to overcome KishanMySister with a 4-2 victory, while Inter Row-Z gave no quarter, outclassing Conlon FC with a 6-0 win. Farcalona also clinched their first victory, defeating FB Leipzig 4-1.

As the season has just begun, there are no clear favourites yet, and with the players fired up after the opening week, the coming matches promise to be enthralling.

In terms of top scorers for each division, BBF FC and Well Wear Rubber Gloves Then are leading the charts in Division 1 and Division 2 respectively, with their teams' high-scoring wins setting the bar for the rest of the season.
