In the inaugural week matches of the freshly commenced season of the highly anticipated Swindon Monday 6-a-side Football League, we saw some thrilling games unfold across both the divisions.

In Division 1, Route One exhibited their dominant form and laid down a strong marker for the rest of the season, outplaying Champagne Super Rovers with a decisive 4-0 victory. Elsewhere, M Town Rovers also started off the season on a winning note, securing a 3-0 win against Dean CF. The highlight of the week in Division 1 was the goal fest between Lionel Mess Tins and Farcalona, where the latter emerged victorious with a thrilling 6-3 win.

Division 2 was no less exciting, with Netsix And Chill asserting their dominance in a stunning display of football, crushing Ohana United 10-0. In another closely contested match, we saw Maccies United edge past Shut The FA Cup with a narrow 3-2 victory. Schmeichel Jackson also managed to squeeze through a victory, defeating Manes Militia 1-0.

As we head into the second week of the season, the top scorers are Farcalona for Division 1 with an impressive 6 goals in their first match, whereas Netsix And Chill leads Division 2 with an outstanding 10 goals.
