In an exciting flurry of goals, the Cheshunt Monday 5-a-side Football League progressed into its fourth week, showcasing some top-level competition among local teams.

In Division 1, While My Calf Gently Weeps exhibited a dominant performance, defeating Sanogo Squad with an impressive 5-2 score. Their fierce offensive strategies and rigorous defence proved too much for their opponents, consolidating their position in the league standings. On the same note, Only Winners FC didn't disappoint their supporters, trouncing Star Dog XI with a massive 6-1 victory. The top scorer for Division 1 was the dynamic forward from While My Calf Gently Weeps, who netted three goals in this week's match.

As for Division 3, the matches were equally thrilling. Bogdogs FC narrowly clinched a 4-3 win over Right In The Thick Off It, in a nail-biting encounter that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. Bumfica, unfortunately, fell short against Madeline Milan, with the latter securing a 4-2 victory. Young Boys and Minors FC gave us the highest scoring match of the week, with Minors FC edging out a 5-4 victory. Spaffikonarcos battled hard but ultimately succumbed to Paralympiacos, losing 2-1. The notable top scorer in Division 3 was a striker from Minors FC, who scored a remarkable four goals in their game.

Despite the intense competition, the spirit of sportsmanship prevailed throughout the matches. As we approach week 5, the teams have their eyes set on the upcoming fixtures, geared up to display some more exciting football. With several weeks still to go in the season, there's all to play for in the Cheshunt Monday Football League.
