In the Swindon Monday 6-a-side Football league, tension and excitement filled the air as we entered Week 8 of the season. The games were filled with remarkable performances and shocking upsets across Divisions 1, 2, and 3.

In Division 1, the clash at the top saw Be As Boys narrowly squeeze past St Marks with a 2-1 victory. Juan-ka and Stratton Slappers had a thrilling encounter, which ended up 4-2 in favor of the Slappers. The Lions roared their way to a 2-1 victory against Drunken Masters, while Bill Oddie's U19's managed to edge out Wheaty Wanderers in a close 2-1 encounter.

Moving on to Division 2, Galaticos FC put on an outstanding show, hammering Real Sosobad 15-0 in a display of total domination. Yeffield Shunited managed to edge past Sheffield Thursday 2-1 in a nail-biting match. Discombobulated Dons had a comfortable 4-0 victory over Shits N Giggles, showcasing their prowess and solidifying their position in Division 2.

Division 3 saw some heated action as well. Not So Athletico trounced Balotelli-Tubbies 3-0, while OCR claimed an impressive 4-1 victory over Jester FC. Naughty Kittens X narrowly edged out Inter Ur Nan 4-3 in a thriller, while Pathetico Madrid thrashed Old Star 4-1. Lastly, Pembroke FC managed a resounding 4-0 victory vis-à-vis Chop FC.

Unfortunately the top scorers for each division were not available at the time of writing this article. Nevertheless, the action in Swindon Monday league was nothing short of spectacular, setting the stage for an intriguing Round 9 next week.
