In the thrilling opening week of the Swindon Monday 6-a-side Football League, teams across three divisions took to the field to kickoff the season.

In Division 1, Wheaty Wanderers made a strong statement with a resounding 6-3 victory over Be As Boys. Stratton Slappers also made an impressive start, defeating Bill Oddie's U19's 3-1. Notably, their star player, Matthew Prictor, picked up the award for the most valued player of the week with a sensational performance. St Marks also clinched a 4-2 victory against Diesel FC, while SN6 Bifta Boys and Kevin defeated Discombobulated Dons and Juan-ka, with scores of 5-2 and 6-0, respectively.

Over in Division 2, Yeffield Shunited blanked Cheese Beans FC 3-0 while Dean CF and Drunken Masters ended in a 1-1 draw. C6 A Side managed to put up an amazing scoreline against Galaticos FC, with a 6-1 win. Pathetico Madrid and Net-6 and Chill wrapped up the division's week with a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, in Division 3, Old Star succumbed to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the 6 Offenders. Adam Johnsons U16s gave a stunning performance with a 10-0 win against Ohana United, while OCR managed to edge out AFC Chelsea United 3-1. Naughty Kittens X and Balotelli-Tubbies tied with a 1-1 score, and Cold FC recorded a narrow 2-1 win against Daggers FC.

As the season has just started, fans are eagerly awaiting how the rest of the season unfolds. The top scorers for each division have set a high standard, and the following weeks are sure to bring more intense matches and stunning performances.
