SWINDON - The Swindon Monday 6-a-side Football league delivered a thrilling display of football in its fifth week, with numerous teams showcasing their skills and prowess on the field.
In Division 1, Bone Bros FC demonstrated why they are a force to reckon with, demolishing Expected Toulouse 7-1. Their dominant performance made a significant statement in the league. On the other hand, SN6 Bifta Boys registered a remarkable 5-0 victory over Chop FC, while Discombobulated Dons narrowly defeated Bill Oddie's U19's 2-1.
Moving to Division 2, Monday Club Blue's and Cold FC both demonstrated exceptional skills, winning their respective games with a 7-0 scoreline, against Net-6 And Chill and Tart Patrol respectively. Pathetico Madrid and Usay Baller as well as Oat Boiz and Yeffield Shunited, however, ended their matches in 2-2 draws, showing the competitive nature of this division.
Division 3 saw high goals galore as well, with Leffe All Work Out claiming a 6-3 victory against 6 Offenders, showcasing an impressive attacking performance. Strawberry Queefs and AFC Chelsea United also registered victories over The Big Six and OCR respectively, while Old Star and Shut The Fa Cup ended in a 2-2 draw.
The top scorers of their respective divisions were: Bone Bros FC for Division 1, Monday Club Blue's and Cold FC for Division 2, and Leffe All Work Out for Division 3. Their outstanding performances in the fifth week have indeed set the bar high for the coming weeks.
