Week 2 of the West Bridgford Sunday Football League was a thrill ride for Premier League and Division 1 teams in an action-packed match-day. 

In the Premier League, there were high-scoring clashes that kept fans gripped. The match of the day was between Gam-notts FC and Blue Lock In FC, ending in a pulsating 7-6 victory for Blue Lock In FC. The standout player was Baba, who had an exceptional day, scoring four goals for his team, earning himself the top scorer of the week in Premier League.

Inter Yanan’s solid 5-2 victory over The Tombliboos was also a highlight of the night. The gritty 6-1 win of Harry Poole FC over UASN, and a well-fought 2-2 draw between Cash Money FC and Win Or Booze rounded off the Premier League fixtures.

In Division 1, the games were equally high-octane. A hard-fought battle between Zouma Kicks Gittens and SOL FC ended in a 5-4 victory for the latter. The AFC Bumbabart squad showcased their prowess on the field with a 10-0 thrashing of Inter Space. Hyson Green managed a close win against TBC FC with a 7-5 score while Sweet Yams took down 6ixers FC with a 5-0 win.

The spotlight in Division 1 was on Dan Jenkins of TBC FC, who netted four goals in his game, making him the top scorer of the week in Division 1.
