The Grimsby Thursday 6-a-side league returned with a bang this week at the Institute, with some incredibly tight games to start off the new season.
In the Premier League, Six Offenders and Inter Young Boys traded blows in a very entertaining match, but it was the former who managed to walk away with the 6-3 win.
Rosa Parks the Bus and Harlow Can You Go remained locked in at a 0-0 draw, as did Kinky Konate and Rolls Reus, with Kroos Control Athletic getting a walkover to start the campaign.
Division 1 saw Crusaders get off to a winning start by beating Wolfpack 5-1, while WB on Toure and Exeter Gently drew their opener 1-1.
Stroke Titty got a walkover that took them on top, as Sub-Standard Liege edged past Murder on Zidane’s Floor 2-1.
