Grimsby Thursday 6-a-side: Electric football!

The Grimsby Thursday 6-a-side league rolled on in full swing this week with top-class games being played across both divisions at the Grimsby Institute. 

The Premier League action kicked off with Harlow Can You Go picking up their first win of the campaign, beating Stroke Titty 4-1.

League leaders Grange FC cruised to a 7-3 win over Kiny Konate, while Rolls Reus pipped Kroos Control Athletic to a 1-0 win and stayed in second. Murder on Zidane’s Floor and Rosa Parks the Bus fought hard to the end as their battle ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

In Division 1, Crusaders beat Wolfpack 1-0, as WB on Toure edged past Overseas FC 2-1 as the action kicked off with two close contests. Table-toppers Six Offenders carried on their form, edging past Lads on Toure for a 1-0 win, which saw the latter fall to third while WB on Toure went to second. 

Exeter Gently and Venom FC provided bags of entertainment, with the former prevailing 6-3 in a pulsating encounter.
