Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league: Top-notch football!
The Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league rolled on at the Grimsby Institute pitches this week with lots of thrilling games.
Starting with the Premier League, where Seven Seas took on Balotellitubies to kick things off. That clash ended in a 2-2 draw. Romasexuals then beat Pamsredseats 3-2, consequently knocking them out of the top two, before Tip End FC capitalized to take second with a convincing 5-1 win over T$1. Blaze Matuidi edged out Grimsby Goons to keep their unbeaten run alive.
In Division 1, the leaders GY Crew were held to a 1-1 draw by Claire Green Machines, which meant the Bombardiers with their points match closed the gap to them at the top to just goal difference. Only Put Matip In also moved up the table with a solid 4-1 win over Haverstoe Ultras who had a rather costly week in terms of league standings.
Division 2 then saw Real Vets get the better of South Humber United, winning 3-0 to start things off. UpTheStripes cruised past Exit and Brexit 4-0, before Boom Shake De Roon also won 4-2 against Juan on Juan. Leaders Hardly Athletic continued to roll on, but were given a tough fight in their 2-1 win over Released On Bale.
