Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side: Brand New Season!

The Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league returned to the Grimsby Institute for another terrific season of football. 

In the Premier League, The Val received a walkover against Pilly Willy, while Romasexuals beat Only Put Matip In 5-2. Last season's top two Tip End FC and Blaze Matuidi were both unavailable to play and were handed a 0-0 result. 

Division 1 saw Johnings Jennings beat Bombardiers 4-2, as the newly-promoted sides Ballpark Madrid and Kinky Konate locked horns, with the former winning 2-1 in their new division. Egg Fried Reus began their campaign with a 3-0 win over Brexit Ballers. 

In Division 2, Real Vets got a points match walkover, while Juan on Juan and Lahmagedon got 1-0 wins over South Humber United and She Was Only XI. 

Remember, you can always turn up as usual even when your official match gets called off for whatever reason. Just pay and play as usual against another team who may be available on the day in a fun, no stakes friendly.
