Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side: Capping off a great season!

The Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league saw a brilliant season filled with goals and thrills come to an end this week at the Grimsby Institute. 

In the Premier League, Romasexuals emerged victorious after a near-flawless campaign where they only lost one game and won the other 9. Tip End FC came in second after a solid campaign, while FastTrackCarWash and Candybum got relegated. 

The former did, however, end their season on a high with a 2-1 win over Only Put Matip In, who avoided the drop and finished below Pilly Willy FC. 

In Division 1, Egg Fried Reus beat Johnings Jennings FC 1-0 in a tasty tip-of-the-table clash on the final day, flipping their spots on the table. The former thus sealed the division win. And while the latter will be gutted, they still secure promotion. 

Pepper Shniffers got their first win of the season and ended on a high despite relegation. 

Division 2saw Stoke Titty end their season on a high, as Real Vets secured promotion with a 1-0 win over Expected Toulouse. 2 Goals 1 Cup had a spectacular season and won the division and will be looking to carry their form in the second tier.
