Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side league: Results of the week
Lots of cracking football was on show at the Grimsby Institute for this week's matches in the Tuesday 6-a-side league, and the standings across all three divisions saw some major shake-ups.
In the Premier League, Tip End FC beat Romasexuals 4-0 to move up the table, before Balotellitubies edged out T$1 3-2 to climb out of the relegation zone. Blaze Matuidi however, stayed put at the top, with a 4-1 win over rivals Seven Seas, who dropped out of the top two, allowing Pamsredseats to move into second with a 2-0 win over Grimsby Goons.
As for Division 1, we saw a new-look top two, with GY Crew's walkover sending them to the top, while Haverstoe Ultras beat Bombardiers FC 4-1 to take second place away from them. Claire Green Machines and Only Put Matip In also received walkovers.
Division 2 also saw some important movements in the table, with Released On Bale kicking things off with a narrow 1-0 win against South Humber United. Juan On Juan finally got their first win of the season with a 2-0 triumph over UpTheStripes, and Real Vets were flying as they took down Exit and Brexit 7-2. The latter's loss allowed Boom Shake De Roon to leapfrog them and claim second spot with a 3-1 win over Hardly Athletic.
