As we approach the end of the Grimsby 6-a-side Tuesday league season, some more great games were on display at the Grimsby Institute this week. 

In the Premier League, there were only two official games played, where second-placed Blaze Matuidi won 2-0 against Grimsby Goons, and Pamsredseats beat Romasexuals 3-1. Seven Seas and Tip End FC received walkovers this week, which meant there was no movement in the standings. 

Division 1 saw Cycling Pique prevail over Two Left Feet 4-1, as Only Put Matip in comfortably saw off Haverstoe Ultras 4-0, with the latter dropping out of the promotion spots on goal difference. Claire Green Machines took their spot thanks to a walkover, as Bombardiers beat Mariner Packaging 5-1. 

In Division 2, Hardly Athletic climbed into second with a 2-0 win over Released on Bale, taking over from Exit and Brexit who were unavailable and conceded a walkover to Ballpark Madrid. Juan on Juan edged out Boom Shake De Roon 3-2 in a tight battle, and Real Vets beat South Humber United to continue a good run of results. 

Remember, even when you have a walkover, you can always pay and play as usual in a fun friendly against a different team that is available on the day.
