It was an intense week of football at the Grimsby Institute, with all the teams putting in a shift in the Tuesday 6-a-side league.

Here are the key results from a round filled with resolute defensive displays, with five clean sheets across all divisions. 

In the Premier League, Tip End had one of the best performances of the evening as they eased to a 5-1 win over Johnings Jennings, before FC Darabani beat Kinky Konate 2-0 in what was the first of a string of similar results.

Dossers on Zidane’s Floor then edged past Romasexuals by picking up a 2-1 win to climb into the top two. 

Division 1 saw Expected Toulouse pick up a 2-0 win over Real Vets, as Only Put Matip In overcame a challenge from Stoke Titty for a 3-2 win. 

Fiorentina Turner found the winner against The Varginas for a 1-0 victory to stay level on points with Stoke Titty atop the table. 

In division 2, UTV beat Rameco 2-0 to maintain their gap atop the standings, before Ballpark Madrid beat Released on Bale with the same scoreline to continue their chase. 

Pepper Shniffers and Swoxi FC grinded it out in a tight game, which ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw with the spoils shared.
