In the latest round of Halifax Monday night 5-a-side football league, teams across three divisions put on an exhilarating display in week 8 of the season. Among the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, the competition was fierce and the atmosphere electric.
In the Premier League, Daddy Day Care delivered a commanding performance against Showroom Strikers, winning the match 8-3. The KFC Donkeys also demonstrated their dominance by defeating Inky Jims FC with an impressive 11-3 victory, whereas Young Ens FC secured a tight win over The Minnows with a 5-3 scoreline.
Division 1 saw Murder On Zidanes Floor taking home a convincing win against Brads Barmy Army with a final score of 13-7. FC P narrowly edged out Cream Cheese in a thrilling 5-4 victory, while Bridge FC held their ground against TRANSLINE, securing a 6-4 win. Kante Fit My Willian rounded out the division, defeating EXPOSED NUGGETS FC 3-1.
In the Division 2 matches, Licouriche Allsports and Stegmen Rovers FC battled it out in a closely fought encounter, with Stegmen Rovers FC taking the win with a 5-4 scoreline. Alpha FC also secured a win against Blazing Yates in a 6-4 showdown.
Though all teams put forth commendable efforts, it was the top scorers from each division that truly stole the show. Their skill and determination on the field played a significant role in the outcomes and their performances were a testament to the high level of competition in the Halifax Monday night 5-a-side football league.
