Unfortunately the first week of the season was brought to an abrupt end as Steve from Misfitz suffered a broken leg. This occurred while he was making a block on the ball and was an unfortunate accident. 

We wish Steve all the best in his recovery and hope to see him back out on the pitch as soon as he is fit.

We would like to thank Suhaib the ref who acted quickly in contacting the emergency services and has the awareness to keep Steve in the recovery position and look after him until the medics arrived.

We would also like to thank all the players for their understanding on the night as due to the length of time it took the emergency services to arrive we couldn't get any more matches played. All team captains will be contacted to inform them of what will happen with last nights results.
