Halstead Monday 6 a side news 2023-10-30

Play in the Halstead Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Monday night saw an adrenaline-fueled week three of the Halstead Monday 6-a-side Football League. Teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 showed off their skills in what proved to be an action-packed night.

In the Premier League, Madeline Milan notched a comfortable 2-0 win against Bunch of Punts and Law Abiding Sigurdssons battled it out in a closely contested match with Tea And Busquets, ending in a 1-1 draw. However, the spotlight was stolen by CESC PISTOLS who dealt a 3-0 defeat to COYS. Marcus Warren of CESC PISTOLS showcased his prowess on the field, bagging a total of 2 goals and currently holds the title as the top scorer in the Premier League.

Division 1 carried its own share of excitement, with Net Busters falling to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Class Of 87. There was no reprieve for Inter The Pub either, who went down 3-0 against KFC. Egg Fried Declan Rice had a reason to celebrate, however, as they managed to secure a 3-1 victory over Crownlea FC.

The standout player in Division 1 was Jamie Giles of Class of 87. Giles found the back of the net three times, securing his position as the top scorer in Division 1.

Overall, it was an exhilarating week of football that only heightens the anticipation for the games to come. We look forward to more displays of sportsmanship, skill, and passion in the upcoming matches as the teams continue to vie for the top spots in their respective divisions.
