The Halstead Monday 6-a-side Football league saw an exciting, action-packed week 3 unfold last night. The teams, brimming with competitive spirit, put on a display full of thrilling highs and lows across three divisions: Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.


In the Premier League, the CESC PISTOLS pulled off an impressive 3-0 victory over Popped United, showing their dominance on the field. Rodney Rovers also had an exciting face-off with Netsix And Chill, with the Rovers nabbing a 4-2 win in an entertaining match. Pinger Patrol managed to secure a narrow 2-1 victory against COYS, adding to the suspenseful drama of the evening.

Division 1 was not short of excitement either, with Andreis Owners delivering a resounding 4-0 win against Only Curls And Horses. Net Busters and Barbaras Boys had a nail-biting match with Net Busters edging out the win at 3-2. De Jong Boys, meanwhile, put on a goal-scoring masterclass, winning 8-2 over KFC.

In Division 2, there were some closely contended matches. Goals Allowed managed a narrow 2-1 victory over Sible Service. Savs Soldiers eked out a win against The Goal Threats, with the scoreboard reading 1-0 at the final whistle. Barnards U15s proved their mettle with a convincing 5-1 win against 2 Goals 1 Cup. The last match of the night saw COYG triumph over Murder On Zidanes Floor, 4-2.

The standout players of each division who notably contributed to these victories were, for the Premier League, the CESC PISTOLS's striker, for Division 1, the forward from De Jong Boys, and for Division 2, the Barnards U15s's attacker.

As we move into week 4, the stakes rise higher, and the teams continue to keep us on the edge of our seats.
