The Halstead Monday 6-a-side Football League kicked off in spectacular fashion this week, with heart-pounding action and dramatic finishes across all divisions.

In the Premier League, the high stakes clash between VictorMosesLawn and Backstreet Moyes ended in a 1-1 draw. CESC PISTOLS edged out Rodney Rovers in a tight match, securing a 2-1 victory. But it was Del Boys who had the most emphatic win of the evening, thumping Jeremies Rimpongs with a jaw-dropping 10 goals to 3. The Popped United and Law Abiding Sigurdssons encounter also ended in a 1-1 draw.

Division 1 saw some thrilling encounters too. Only Curls And Horses started their campaign with a 4-2 victory over Andreis Owners. Netsix And Chill snatched a narrow 3-2 win against Barnards U15s. COYS managed a 3-2 victory over Net Busters. However, the highlight of the night was De Jong Boys, who ran riot against KFC with an 8-2 triumph.

The match between Sible Service and Barbaras Boys ended in a goalless draw, and HIV Eindhoven started their season with a 4-1 win over COYG.
