NORTHWICH - The excitement was palpable this week as the Northwich Monday 6-a-side Football League entered its 5th week. Teams across the Premier League and Division 1 fought hard on the pitch, with some incredible matches and some surprising scores.

In the Premier League, San Marino took a decisive win against Multiple Scorgasms with a score of 3 - 1. Despite a hard-fought match, The Hive FC and No Chance FC had a goalless draw, ending their match 0 - 0. The game between Lodge FC and The Six Offenders FC was a showcase of skills with Lodge FC dominating with an impressive 5 - 1 win. Another highlight of the evening was the match between HGCFC and Futtbuckers, ending 2 - 6 respectively.

Division 1 had equally thrilling matches. The Goal Diggers gave a stellar performance against Net Six & Chill, ending the match with a commanding 5 - 0 win. The Alderman Veterans made their presence felt with a crushing 9 - 0 victory against Kiss My Pass. Gareth FC and Barnton Fishermen also had a tight match, ending 3 - 1 in favor of Gareth FC.

Top scorers of the evening were Futtbuckers from the Premier League division with 6 goals, and Alderman Veterans from Division 1 who scored an amazing 9 goals.
