WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE NORTHWICH MONDAY LEAGUE 24TH JUNE

Another excellent evening in the Northwich Monday 6 aside league held at Hartford High School with all teams in attendance as usual and everything running like clock work.

The Quaysiders remain in pole position despite suffering their first defeat of the season this week at the hands of Eritrea Flying Penguins with a 2-1 scoreline. Flying Penguins are now just a point behind the leaders with only 3 games left in the season. 

Cheese On Toast registered their second victory of the season as they narrowly defeated bottom side Hilltop Hooligans by 3 goals to 2 in a match filled with opportunities for both teams.

The remaining match of the evening saw Murder On Zidanes Floor gain themselves a comfortable 3-0 victory over 2 Girls 1 Schulpp to remain in a solid third place.
