LP Hitsquad move level at the top of Havant Monday 6 a side

It was fantastic to see all 23 teams in attendance last night for match day 8 of our Havant & Waterlooville FC Monday night 6 a side league. We move just past the halfway point now and the title races are wide open across all 3 divisions.

There are some strong teams at the top of the Premier league with all capable of taking points off each other. Don't Go Nowhere remain on top after the latest round of fixtures but they now have LP Hitsquad joining them on 13 points. Reigning champions Cardiac Arrest held Nowhere to a 3-3 draw while LP Hitsquad picked up a points match win due to the space in the division. Guys if you know of any teams get them to register and join. Goalscorers for Cardiac were Johnson 2 and Ngimibi while Don't Go Nowhere scored through Evans and Mcandrew 2. Barely Legal stayed in touch as they won 5-2 against Wildfredbony's Boys with strikes from Edmonds 2, Mullins 2 and Carew while Bony's goals came from Squire and Langley. Puff Puff Pass returned this week to score the only goal of a tight came through Newnham to win 1-0 against Bilbao Baggins.

West Lee Mack remain unbeaten and followed up last weeks convincing win with another as they beat Bombs 7-3 to stay two points clear of LPU. Burfoot scored four to take his tally to 12 for the season while Teal, Smith and Lipscombe also found the back of the net. Morgan Jenkins with all three in reply for Bombs. LPU also managed a win as they beat Rapid Decline 3-1, goals from Blake, Skinner and Curtis. Hayes for Decline. MK Dongs enjoyed a comfortable night with a 8-1 victory against Tangtastic. Morgan Essen is second in the goalscorer chart and he bagged himself another 4 while Parsons 2, Woodhouse and Wareham got the others. Tangtastic goal was from Britton. Moore banged a hat-trick for Meat FC plus a goal from Long but it wasn't quite enough to seal a win for the boys as Rovers had other ideas with strikes from Goodwin, Ward 2 and Farrugia to take a share of the points in a 4-4 draw.

Finally onto Div 2 where Smart and Turner looked like they were trying to out score each other as RM Crossfit defeated Steaua Portsmouth 9-1, Smart and Turner with 4 a piece while Baker chipped in. Steaua scoring through Adelin Spirea Danut. The win keeps RM unbeaten and flying high at the top but with Westy Utd still breathing down their necks just a point behind. They also enjoyed a fairly comfortable night as they beat Unais Frauds 5-1. Strikes from Fisher 2, Regan, Christy and Hyson for Westy with Grounds getting a goal back for Frauds. Goal Diggers lost a little bit of ground on the top two as they were held to a 1-1 draw by 4th place Willian Your Mouth, Appleby for Diggers and Jobber for Willian. To round things off Swan FC produced a solid display to beat Kye Rovers Res 2-0 with Baldry and Read on the scoresheet.

Thank you to all our teams as usual, a great turnout in the summer holiday season. Also a big thank you to our match night supervisor Mike along with refs Jack, Blair and Nathan. We are working on trying to fill the remaining place so any new teams please get signed up and playing at the link below, Thanks Rich 07969 731086
