Week 3 Round Up from Havant 6 a side

It was a wet and windy night of 6 a side down at the Havant and Waterlooville stadium on Monday as our brilliant league reached week 3 of the season.

We are on the look out for a new team to join our premier league on Mondays, anyone interested can jump straight in and play next Monday with a half price entry fee and a 1st game free of charge! Call Rob on 07538562547 for any info.

In the prem this week we saw Cardiac Arrest continue on their winning ways with a tight 3 - 2 win over LPU while AW.F.C got the better of LP HitSquad 4 - 1 to go second. Barely Legal and West Lee Mack both had points wins this week as 2 points separate the top 4 teams.

Division One is looking very competitive this season already, 5 sides share the lead on 4 points with just goal difference separating them. RM Crossfit occupy the top spot despite going down 4 - 2 to Rapid Decline while Westy sit 2nd after a 3 - 0 win over Bub Bub. Goal Diggers picked up the points with a 3 - 2 win over Keith FC and  Morgan Easen hattrick earnt MK Dongs a 5 - 2 win over Meat FC.

Division Two is wide open with Swan FC looking strong, they had a great night against Bombs, winning 11 - 0 thanks to 4 from Owen Clark and a hattrick from Owen Read. Rovers are showing good early season form too and they proved to be too good on the night for Tangfastic, Ben Challinor scoring 3 of his teams goals as Rovers came away 5 - 1 winners to sit 2nd in the table. Island FC are 3rd after a good 8 - 0 win over The Fox, Max Clapp with three and Willian Your Mouth got their 1st points of the season overcoming Kye Rovers Reserves 4 - 1

So Ben Johnson, Morgan Easen and Max Clapp lead the golden boot races after 3 weeks as we rapidly head towards Monday again.

Fingers crossed we can fill the empty spot in the prem pretty soon, if you know anyone who might be interested please get them to get in touch!

Cheers as always to Mike, Mark, Jack and Nathan for running the night and to all the captains for being organised and sorting your teams. Roll on week 4 !!
