AW.FC TOP OF HAVANT MONDAY 6 A SIDE

AW.FC continue to lead our Monday Night 6 a side league in Havant after registering another good win last night. Morgan Moret netted twice as his side came through a tricky game against Farlington, who's own Ethan Rose also scored twice but goals from Daniel Hargreaves and Tommy Kirk for AW ensured they went home with the points. 4 - 2 the final score in this one.

Rapid Decline won 7 - 3 against new side Peter File X1 while Cardiac Arrest had goals from James Crane, Ben Johnson and Lloyd Legg to thank for their 5 - 0 win over Six Bells Vets who were also making their 1st appearance. Westy had a good night, picking up their 2nd win of the season with a 7 - 3 win over MK Dongs. Sam Hoolahan bagging 3 while Ben Hammond, Toby Appleby, Brandon Jones and new signing Jonsun Smart all amongst the goals. MK stay 3rd but this is a definite blow to their title push. Kian Bertram's hattrick at least giving them something to cheer in an otherwise disappointing night.

Finally in the top flight we saw a 4 - 1 win for Puff Puff Pass in their game with Swan FC. Jamie Hounslow on target with two while Tom Newman and Jim Newman both got one each. Charlie Tunbridge the lone goal scorer for Swan FC this week.

All that leaves us with a league table that is led by AW.FC, one point ahead of defending champions Cardiac Arrest. There is now a 3 point gap to MK Dongs in 3rd before a group of 4 teams all on 6 points so there is plenty of great football to come this season in the premier league.

Into Division One where there is also a one point lead at the top, Great British Paving maintain their 100% record following their 6 - 1 win against Island FC. Lewis Batey on target again with 3 while Bradley Woodman, Aaron Jones and Simon Batey all got one each. Tom Seve with the only goal for Island FC.

LP Underdogs sit 2nd after another win. Hayden Davies scored twice and Aaron Scardfield once to give them a solid 3 - 0 win over Kye Rovers who slip to 8th after a few tough games against the top two sides. They will look to bounce back next week against Meat FC who themselves found some winning form last night with a 4 - 0 win over WhatDivock. Brennan Long and Jay Atkinson both with two each for The Meats.

Jack Clarke's hattrick ensured that Westleigh Rovers' search for their 1st points goes on as Willian Your Mouth moved up to 6th with a good 3 - 0 win and in our final game of the night H & W Pigeons kept up their good form from the last few weeks, coming away with a 1 - 0 win against Bottle Jobs. The result leaves the Pigeons in 3rd place, just a couple of points outside of the promotion positions as we wrap up week 6.

Big thanks as always to Mike, Jack, Mark and Nathan for doing another excellent job on the night. We head towards week 7 now with some exciting fixtures on the cards. The top 4 a ll play each other in Division One, could this be a decisive round of matches in the race for the top flight ?

Have a good week guys!
