CARDIAC ARREST CHAMPIONS OF HAVANT

We wrapped up another amazing season of 6 a side in Havant last night with the Havant & Waterlooville FC stadium buzzing with excitement as our 24 teams played out their final games of what has been an enthralling season.

Thank you to all our team captains for putting in the time and effort needed to manage your squads, a few have had some difficult weeks but you can all be really proud of yourselves for the way you have kept your teams going through the last 10 weeks of games.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Well played to Cardiac Arrest who claim another top flight title with a near perfect season. A 3 - 1 win last night see's them finish 3 points ahead of OAP's who rounded of their brilliant campaign with a 5 - 1 win over Kye Rovers who drop straight back down to Division One after a predictably difficult season. Puff Puff got the better of Westy 4 - 2 to save themselves from the drop, Westy ending the season in a solid 3rd place.

Champions Cardiac Arrest dominated the Golden Boot race too with 3 of the top 5 scorers from their team. Ben Johnson finishes way out in front though having put away 19 goals, 10 more than the next best effort from team mate James Crane who hit 9. Well played again to Ben and all of his Cardiac Arrest team mates.

DIVISION ONE

As expected Don't Go Nowhere have cruised to the Division One title. It was frustrating to not be able to have them in the prem this season but at least now they can return and do so with silverware under their arms. They won all 10 games and finish 7 points clear of Rapid Decline in 2nd place. Both teams won well on the final night to confirm their promotion to the top table while Smashers end third ahead on Meat FC in forth. AFC Mole Hill picked up a good win over Misfits to round off their season but both sides take the drop to division Two. Lloyd Legg helped himself to a hat-trick on the final night to sneak ahead of Jake Snook in claiming the golden boot for Division One, his 13 goals have played a big part in Don't Go Nowhere's dominance and it will be good to see if he can carry thay kind of form back into the premier league.

DIVISION TWO

Following the theme of the divisions above, we have had a run away winner in Division Two this season. TopG's have romped home with 17 points, 5 clear of Westleigh Rovers. It was a points win this week to see out what has been a brilliant campaign from Top G's with Liam Brewer claiming the golden boot and the whole leagues MVP award with 5 Man of the Match awards. Despite a defeat this week for Westleigh Rovers they continue their improvement and now go up to Division One alongside the league champions, congratulations to them on an excellent campaign. PCS Vets just miss out on promotion but remain 3rd with Leigh Park United in 4th. New side HUFC 6s finish in the bottom two having inherited a poor league position, their 2 wins from their only two games might indicate that they are too strong for Division 3. KFC Workers failed to raise a side this week and go down to what is hopefully a more suitable division for them.

DIVISION THREE

Congratulations to Tekkerslovakia for taking home the Division Three league title. Their excellent season ended with another win to see them home 3 points ahead of Giroud Sandstorm who will join them in being promoted. WRL are 3rd in a good season from them with Dyslexia coming in 4th. The bottom 2 are WhatDivock and Barely Athletic who played out a rare 0 - 0 this week, the 2nd time this season that they have been inseparable over 30 mins of football. Harry Wareham of Dyslexia claims the Division Three Golden Boot for his 21 goals ahead of Sam Clarke of Giroud Sandstorm on 15 This has been a mostly cometitive season in this division which is great to see and hopfully we are in for another similar seaon starting next week.

So there we have it, another season all done and dusted and its only left to say thank you again to our teams and of course to our brilliant officials in Havant. Mike, Mark, Nathan and Jack are all right up there amoungst the best refs we have across all our leagues and we really are very lucky to have them there to manage things on match nights.

Thanks again and good luck to everyone for the new season
