Don't Go Nowhere back on top of Havant Monday 6 a side

I will be back on top of match reports for the next few weeks after being away for a week or so. It was good to see that the majority of teams were in attendance last night at our Havant & Waterlooville FC Monday 6 a side league however it was a shame to see Brownie Boys pulling out of the league and not able to attend their final match. It does open up a space for a new team to join and grab the free spot though.

Onto the football news and Don't Go Nowhere rose back to the top of the Premier League after defeating third place Barely Legal 3-2. Legg, Evans and Mcandrew for the leaders while captain Brandon Miller replied for Barely Legal. LP Hitsquad lost top spot as they went down 2-0 to reigning champions Cardiac Arrest, last season top scorer James Crane with a brace. Wilfred Bony's Boys gave their survival hopes a shot in the arm as they move out of the bottom two after a 3-2 victory against Bilbao Baggins. Langley, Squire and Ferre for Bony's while Baggins drop into the relegation zone despite two goals from Owen Clark. The other result was points match win for Puff Puff Pass due to Brownie Boys not being able to attend.

West Lee Mack remain unbeaten in Div 1 as they saw off second place LPU 4-1 to move two points clear of them. Burfoot and Teal both hit doubles for West Lee while Skinner got one back for LPU who remain in the promotion places. MK Dongs moved to within three points of LPU after a 7-1 victory against Rovers. Cornish 4, Easen 2 and Kirk with their goals while Goodwin registered for the visitors. Tangtastic had a good win themselves as Jack Heselwood banged in 4 goals to add to Skilton's as they beat Bombs 5-0. Last but not least Meat FC and Rapid Decline somehow managed a 0-0 in 6 a side, not a result you see very often. Both keepers must of been pleased, maybe not so much the strikers.

RM Crossfit had to work extremely hard to secure the points against Kye Rover Res as they won 4-2 with Adam 2, Thurgood and Read scoring. R Dixon and AJ Dixon with the goals from Rovers. The win keeps Crossfit a point ahead of Westy Utd who picked up a win themselves beating Swan FC 3-0, Cobb with two and Berry with the other for Westy. Goal Diggers are still very much in the hunt for promotion as they defeated Steaua Portsmouth 3-1 to keep in touch with the top two. Toby Appleby with a double plus one from Max Smith while Danut replied for Steaua. Finally Willian Your Mouth produced some exciting attacking football to finish off 7-3 winners in an entertain game with Unais Frauds. Clarke 3, Jobber 2, Dubben and Foster for Wilian while Grounds hit a hat-trick fro Frauds.

Thank you to all our teams and our refs as usual. Look forward to seeing you all next week for match day 8. If there are any new teams reading we do have one space now in the Monday league if you want to grab it while it's there. Contact me on 07969 731086 or register at the link below, thanks Rich:
