Don't Go Nowhere stay top of Havant 6 a side with narrow win

It was a great turnout last night for our Havant & Waterlooville FC Monday night 6 a side league, especially after the big game on Sunday night. It's a shame we weren't celebrating but it was good to see all but two teams in attendance.

Collins scored the important goals to keep Don't Go Nowhere top of the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Wilfred Bony's Boys. Jamie Langley was on target for Bony's who pushed the leaders very close but couldn't quite put an end to Nowhere's 100% record. LP Hitsquad picked up a points match win with Puff Puff Pass being away, the win keeps them a point behind. Barely Legal are third as they won 6-3 against Brownie Boys. Huntley and Stone scored braces while Mullins and Turrell chipped in for Barely. Johnson 2, Howe 2 and Winslade fired in for defending champions Cardiac Arrest in a 5-0 win over Bilbao Baggins as they climb to 4th.

Div 1 leaders MK Dongs were knocked off top spot as they narrowly lost 4-3 to LPU. A Morgan Essen hat-trick wasn't enough as Curtis 2, Fordham and Biles scored the goals to seal the win for LPU which lifts them to second. Top on goal difference now are West Lee Mack who moved to the summit despite having to settle for a point in a 3-3 draw with Tangtastic. Spanner 2 and Burfoot for West Lee while Heselwood 2 and Bellinger scored for Tangtastic. Captain Jonty Page scored twice for Bombs along with a double from teammate Fry as the won 4-1 against Meat FC while Rapid Decline picked up a points match win.

Westy United continue to fly high at the top of Div 2 as they saw off Kye Rovers Res 3-0 with strikes from Cobb, Fisher and Hammond. Just below them are RM Crossfit who proved to strong on the night for Unais Frauds winning 7-1, top scoring with 4 was Adams. Also with a 7-1 victory were Willian Your Mouth who defeated Steaua Portsmouth. Sam Clarke with a hat-trick in this one. Goal Diggers unfortunately were left without a match this week when A3 Milan failed to appear. A3 Milan have confirmed now they are vacating the league but we will find out if they are completing their second weeks notice next Monday.

Thank you to all our teams and our refs Mike, Blair, Nathan and Tom. We do have a couple of spaces in the league so if new teams want to enter now please contact Rich on 07969 731086 or register at the link below:
