Havant Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 3

In the Havant Monday 6-a-side football league, the third week of play brought a flurry of goals and a shake-up in the standings across Divisions 1, 2, and 3.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the tension was palpable as the Misfits narrowly defeated El Pork Pies 1-0, securing the top spot for this week. The Smashers also made their presence felt, seeing off How Low Kanu Go with a 3-1 victory. The top scorer in this division is Dale Marsh from Smashers, who proved to be a formidable force, netting two goals.

DIVISION TWO
Division 2 showed no shortage of action with an impressive Saka Spuds win over Punjab Alliance, in an astounding 8-1 victory. Clem Fandangoal FC also dominated, scoring six past Borussia Teeth. The 2 Goals 1 Cup showed their prowess with a solid 3-1 win over Space Stars FC. The division's stand-out player Jamie Dean from Saka Spuds scored an impressive four goals, staking his claim as the top scorer.

DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, Inter YaNan delivered a stunning performance, putting an incredible 11 goals past Dip Dip. Classic VI delivered a solid performance against Man Tity with a 6-2 win, while MoLeicester City and AFC Mole Hill also came out victorious. Inter YaNan's Pierre ‘woodwork Hitting Extraordinaire’ Nash was the shining star, scoring a staggering five goals to become the top scorer.

The week's Most Valued Player honor went to Andy Bellinger from Division 2's 2 Goals 1 Cup. His exceptional performance helped his team secure a win and solidify their position in the division. All eyes will surely be on him in the upcoming weeks, as he looks to continue his fine form and push his team up the leaderboard.

The intensity continues to build in this league, and there is no telling what the next week might bring. With three divisions full of talented players, one thing is certain: the action is far from over.
