In an exciting week of football, the Havant Monday 6-a-side league saw some thrilling matches across three divisions. Week 4 of the season brought fierce competition, dramatic goals, and stellar performances from local teams and players.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Leigh Park United secured a close-fought 2-1 victory over Berewood United, while Clem Fandangoal FC and Misfits ended in a 1-1 draw. Smashers overcame CLASSIC VI in a 4-2 win, with Dale Marsh from Smashers leading the division with two goals, earning the title of top scorer.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Old Boys FC demonstrated their experience with a 3-1 win against Young Boys FC. Marlon Packet showed their dominance with a 7-0 thrashing of Saka Spuds, and Inter YaNan suffered a narrow 1-2 defeat to Sum Ting Wong. The top scorer in this division was Jimmy Pearce of Old Boys FC, with a single goal contributing to his team's victory.
DIVISION THREE
Division 3 saw AFC Squids edge out See Me Tired with a 1-0 win, while Punjab Alliance triumphed over Sons Of Pitches with a 4-2 scoreline. Noddy Fc secured a comfortable 3-1 win over Dip Dip, with Harry Cooper scoring all three goals for Noddy Fc, earning him the title of top scorer in Division 3.
Furthermore, Harry Cooper's outstanding performance and hat-trick didn't only earn him the top scorer title in his division, but also led him to be named the Most Valued Player of the week. His consistent performances as a player for Noddy Fc continue to make a significant impact in the Havant Monday league.
