Havant Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 8

In an exciting turn of events during the 8th week of the Havant Monday Football League, local teams continued to compete fiercely across all four divisions.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Leigh Park United made a significant impression by overpowering Clem Fandangoal FC with a striking score of 6-1. Mason Carter, the star player from Leigh Park United, emerged as the top scorer in this division, netting a total of three goals.

DIVISION TWO
The competition in Division 2 saw Alfie Aldridge from 2 Goals 1 Cup, steal the spotlight. Aldridge's sterling performance, which included scoring two goals, not only helped his team to secure a 3-1 victory over Netsix And Chill, but also earned him the coveted title of the week’s Most Valued Player.

DIVISION THREE
Division 3 also witnessed some high adrenaline matches. Andy Goulty of See Me Tired emerged as the top scorer with three goals, aiding his team to a narrow victory of 4-3 over Inter YaNan.

DIVISION FOUR
Lastly, in Division 4, Mason Bendon from Man Tity shone by scoring two goals, despite his team suffering a defeat of 6-2 against Portsbridge. The match between Waterloovile Social and Pukka FC was a close one, ending at 3-2, while GRRMONDAYS FC narrowly defeated Havant A Clue, 3-2.

As we approach the final bend with just two weeks remaining in the season, teams are urged to secure their places for the next season. The pressure is on as the teams strive for top spots in their respective divisions. With such thrilling performances this past week, we can only anticipate more exciting football in the weeks to come.
