In a thrilling week 9 of the Havant Monday Football League, a multitude of teams across four divisions competed in fierce matches, each seeking to climb the ranks of their respective divisions.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Leigh Park United clinched a narrow 1-0 victory against the Smashers. The star of the match was undoubtedly Shane Marshall, who not only scored the winning goal but also earned the title of the week's most valued player for his outstanding performance for Leigh Park United.
DIVISION TWO
As the action heated up in Division 2, Misfits overcame AFC Squids with a score of 3-1, while 2 Goals 1 Cup managed to edge out Six Offenders in a close encounter of 2-1. In a remarkable show of dominance, Saka Spuds crushed Netsix And Chill with 11 goals to zero. The top scorer in Division 2 was Harvey Bates, who netted a stunning 3 goals for Saka Spuds.
DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, Inter YaNan fell to Dip Dip 4-0, See Me Tired lost to Wafty Wanders Fc 8-3, and Batey Boys were narrowly beaten by Sum Ting Wong 2-1. Liam Wickham stole the show in this division, landing 5 goals for Wafty Wanders Fc.
DIVISION FOUR
Finally, in Division 4, GRRMONDAYS FC bested Waterloovile Social 4-1, Portsbridge demolished Havant A Clue 18-0, and Man Tity secured a 5-0 victory over Pukka FC. The top scorer, Ryan George, scored an impressive 6 goals for Portsbridge.
The Havant Monday Football League continues to showcase the incredible talent and competitive spirit of local football, creating an exciting atmosphere for both players and fans alike. As we move into week 10, the stakes continue to rise, and we can't wait to see what these teams bring to the pitch next.
