HAVANT MONDAY LEAGUE DELIVERS AGAIN

We had the usual brilliant level of football last night at Havant and Waterlooville with the late withdrawal of Puff Puff Pass the only negative in an otherwise excellent night of games. All the teams responded well to our request to have only the playing teams on the pitch and for subs to be the opposite side of the playing surface to the refs so they can fully concentrate on the games and all the officials have said how much better it was so thank you for taking the change on board to improve things for everyone.

Westy took a 5 - 0 win from Puff Puff's absence but would far rather have played so please can all teams make sure that we get plenty of notice if you can't raise a side, 7 days means you won't have to pay but even if it is short notice, the sooner we know the better please. OAP's picked up a tidy 3 - 0 win over Kye Rovers and Cardiac continue to stretch out in front with a 3rd win to start their title defence, winning 3 - 1 over A.W FC.

Division One dished up some brilliant games with Bub Bub and AFC Mole Hill playing out a rare 0 - 0 while Smashers and Rapid Decline also shared the spoils in a competitive 3 - 3 draw. Don't Go Nowhere were the only movers on the night with their 6 - 0 win against Meat FC adding to their lead at the top of the table. Lloyd Legg the main man for the table toppers, netting 4 times to go level in the golden boot race for the division.

Draws were a feature of Division Two as well with Westleigh Rovers and Bottle Job joining PCS Vets and The Hurricanes in a 2 - 2 score line while Top G's picked up an important 1st win in a really close game with KFC Workers that ended 4 - 3 thanks to Liam Brewer's fine hat-trick.

Not to be left out, Division Three also featured some really tight games. Tekkerslovakia won 6 - 2 against Dyslexia but then WLR Utd drew 3 - 3 with Giroud Sandstorm and WhatDivock held Barely Athletic to a 2 - 2 draw to wrap up an extraordinary night of action that gave us 6 draws.

Big thanks as always to our brilliant officials for another outstanding night on the whistles and thanks to all the captains that got organised and had their team ready to play on time.
