MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL - HAVANT 6 A SIDE

We had another great night of 6 a side in Havant last night with all 24 teams of this brilliant league in attendance. Each division is nicely poised going into the last couple of weeks and there were some interesting results last night;

PREMIER LEAGUE

Westy 3 - 2 OAP's

AW FC 4 - 3 Don't Go Nowhere

Cardiac Arrest 3 - 2 Puff Puff Pass

DIVISION ONE

Bottle Jobs 0 - 1 Rapid Decline

Hangover 2 - 2 Meat FC

Smashers 2 - 8 Kye Rovers

DIVISION TWO

WLR Utd 2 - 2 Keith FC

AFC Mole Hill 7 - 3 PCS Vets

The Hurricanes 1 - 1 Bub Bub FC

DIVISION THREE

What Divock 1 - 1 Dyslexia FC

Willian Your Mouth 1 - 1 Tekkerslovakia

Peter File X1 0 - 8 Westleigh Rovers

So it's a 2 point lead for Cardiac Arrest in the top flight with Westy still in the hunt for the title but games are running out to bridge the 2 point gap. At the bottom AW's win on their return keeps them outside the drop zone.

Smashers and Rapid Decline are locked together on 12 points at the top of Division One with Kye Rovers just a point back, it's going to be an exciting few weeks in this one. Bottle Jobs and Hangover both look resigned to Division Two for next season.

Bub Bub are on course to take their place in Division One and with a 2 point lead are favourites to go up with a winners medal around their necks. AFC Mole Hill and PCS Vets will push all the way but only 2 of the 3 can go up. WLR and Keith will both drop to Division 3 for the new season.

Westleigh Rovers are writing quite a story in Division 3 and now look well placed to take home the league title. Tekkerslovakia and Peter File are also in the hunt and next weeks fixtures look huge in deciding where the title will end up with the top two facing each other.

Well played to Gary Davies, Ron Wesley and Frankie McMullan who all netted good hattricks this week while Craig Marchant went one better with 4 and Kye Rovers' goal machine Jordan Evans had another great night with 6.

As always its a huge thanks to everyone for being there, from the players to the supporters and of course the officials we really appreciate you making this league what it is.

Good luck to all our teams for next week.
