New 24 team Havant Monday 6 a side returns for week 2

A big thank you to all 24 teams last night and to our match night supervisor Mike and our refs Nathan, Tom and Lee. Upon arrival at the club we were told the floodlights were being upgraded and wouldn't be on, so after that initial shock the guys put in place a plan to get us through the night faster than normal by cutting out the halftime break. Apologises to those older players who need the break and thank you to all teams for your understanding, we didn't know about the situation ourselves until we got there. We just about made it through although the final games did get a dark towards the end. The brand new floodlights will be up and running next week.

Onto the football now and it was great to see all 24 teams in attendance this week. In the Premier League Don't Got Nowhere went top of the table with a resounding 13-0 win over Brownies Boys. Oakwell 4, Legg 3, Hogg 3, Haudiquet 2 and Wilson with the goals. Barely Legal enjoyed a 4-0 victory over reigning champions Cardiac Arrest, Huntley scoring a brace to add to strikes from Stone and Turrell. Wilfred Bony's Boys got off the mark for the season with a narrow 2-1 win over Puff Puff Pass. Langley and Pilgrim for Bony's while Newnham scored for Puff Puff. Not much to report on in the final Prem match as Bilbao Baggins and LP Hitsquad shared a 0-0 draw, not a result you see very often in 6 a side.

MK Dongs have made a great start to the Div 1 season as they went top with a 7-1 win over Bombs? Wareham scoring a hat-trick with goals from Easen 2 and Crooks 2. Fry with the only goal for Bombs. After dropping into Div 1 West Lee Mack are looking good with two wins from two. Last night they defeated Rapid Decline 4-1 with a hat-trick from Teal and a strike from Burfoot. Williams on the scoresheet for Decline. A double hat-trick for Davies helped new boys LPU seal the win over Three For One 7-2 while Tangtastic proved to strong for Meat FC winning 10-0. Jack Heselwood was on the goal trail again with 5 while Cross 2, Bellinger, Britton and Wake also registered for Tangtastic.

In Div 2 there were four very competitive matches as Westy United occupy top spot with their second win in a row beating Willian Your Mouth 3-1 thanks to a H.Regan hat-trick. New team A3 Milan made it two wins too as they defeated Steaua Portsmouth 3-0. House with two and Pendallon with the other. Brown was another hat-trick hero on the night as he struck 3 times for Unais Frauds in a 3-1 victory against Kye Rovers Res. Finally RM Crossfit picked up the points in their match with Goal Diggers winning 4-2. Crossfit scoring through Turner and Creese who both hit doubles. Goal Diggers goals coming from Appleby and Fisher.

Thanks against to all our teams and our refs. See you all next week for match day 3.
