Season hotting up at Havant 6 a side

On another great night at the Havant and Waterlooville stadium, our Monday league again demonstrated a high level of 6 a side football in what has to be the best quality league in the area.

We still have one space to fill in Division One so anyone interested should 100% get in touch with me on 07967372473 or sign up for free via this link.

Starting in the Prem we saw Cardiac Arrest open their account for the season, but boy were they made to work hard for the points against a competitive Puff Puff Pass side. Johnson netted twice for Cardiac, as did Ben Thomas for PPP but Crane was also on the score sheet to ensure that Cardiac Arrest move ahead of their opponents in the table.
Wilfred Bony's Boys also picked up their 1st win in a dominant performance against West Lee Mack, Burfoot gave the Mack's something to cheers but goals from Langley, Pilgrim and Curtis Squire gave WBB's the edge in this one.
Don't go Nowhere will be frustrated to have not faired better having started the season well last week, they met a Men Utd side who are starting to find their feet in this league and who's 4 goals proved enough to take the points. Thomas Parsons scored twice in a great game that see's Men Utd sit 4th and Don't go Nowhere drop to 7th.
Brandon Miller yet again showed his class for joint leaders Barely Legal. In a dramatic game that saw LPHitsquad go two behind before staging a great comeback to level things, only for Miller to secure yet another hat trick with a fine left foot finish. Tough to take for LPHitsquad as they slip to 6th while Barely Legal keep the heat on Champions Warren Wanderers at the top of the table.
The final game in the prem this week featured the title holders and early league leaders Warren Wanderers against new side A3 Milan in what proved to be a bit of a baptism of fire for Demilade and his team. Warren Wanderers scored 4 without reply and A3 Milan would be grateful to Warren's classy sportsmanship in it not being more. A3 Milan contributed hugely to this game though and after the toughest of opening games they will be looking to kick start their Leisure Leagues campaign next week when they face Puff Puff Pass.
Moving to Division One where the standard of 6 a side football is still incredible, we saw Bilbao Baggins fall victim to two late goals from Rapid Decline to kick start their season with a 3 - 1 win, Hayes picking up 2 goals for Rapid. While Unais Frauds and Bombs battled out a very rare draw, It finished 2 - 2 in a game that flowed from end to end throughout, Unais Frauds tucking away a penalty in the closing moments to get their season up and running with a well deserved point. Great game!
Balotelitubbies have started the season in great form and followed their opening win last week with a dominant performance against MK Dongs. Barthald hit two for the 2nd week running while Keens, Woods and Skilton also hit the back of the net on a disapointing night for MK Dongs captain Morgan Easen who did get on the scoresheet himself but couldn't prevent his side going down 7 - 2.
PFR and Steaua Portsmouth shared the spoils in their game with just a goal a peice in what was a tight and very close game which either side could have won. A draw seemed a fair result and both sides sit mid table two weeks in.
Brownie Boys benefited from a 5 - 0 Points win, thank you to LPHitSquad for hanging around to give them a game.
So a great night all in all and this season is warming up nicely now, thanks as always to Mike, Tom, Nathan and Blair for running the night. Roll on next week.
