WESTY HOLD ONTO TOP SPOT IN HAVANT 6 A SIDE

Despite being a bitterly cold night in Havant our teams all braved it and played out round 5 of games in our brilliant season of 6 a side football. This is rapidly developing into one of our best seasons yet with everyone settled into the new routine following a turbulent campaign last time round.

We still see Westy Utd at the top of the prem table with a one goal advantage over Cardiac Arrest. The top two meet next week, can Westy hang onto top spot over Christmas or will Cardiac re-stamp their authority on the title race before the break? This really won't be one to miss. Jonsun Smart and Jack Legg got the goals for Westy in their 2 - 1 win over OAPs while Cardiac registered a 3 - 1 win over Puff Puff with goals from Ben Johnson, Richard Winslade and Glen Morrison while Johnty Pearson was on target for Puff Puff who sit 3rd. Six Bells secured their 2nd win of the season with a 3 - 0 win over Hangover 96.

Division One leaders Smashers picked up a 6 - 2 win over Kye Rovers thanks to a hattrick from Jake Snook and 2 goals from Luke Payne while Meat FC remain 2nd with a 5 - 3 win against RCFC. Rapid Decline and Bottle Jobs battled out a tight 2 - 2 draw to keep Rapid 3rd and Bottle Jobs 5th in this competitive division.

Bub Bub made moves into the promotion places of Division Two with a good 2 - 0 win over The Hurricanes. Taylor Pilgram amongst the goal scorers. The team leap frog AFC Mole Hill into 2nd after they had to settle for a point this week following a brilliant 1 - 1 draw with leaders PCS Vets. It was a good night for Keith FC who picked up their 1st win. Our newest side secured a 5 - 3 win against WLR Utd to kick start their campaign.

Division Three saw some very close games this week with Tekkerslovakia and Willian You Mouth finishing 3 - 3 while WhatDivock claimed a brilliant 4 - 3 win against WeCock Whippets. Jack Henderson the main man for them with a couple of goals. At the top there was another win for Peter File thanks to 2 goals from Toby Appleby as they got past Westleigh Rovers 4 - 2.

A Great effort from the teams and from the officials last night. Well done to Nathan for stepping up to supervise with Mike away, great job done and another brilliant night of 6 a side completed.

We have our last round of games before Christmas next Monday. We are then off for 2 weeks, returning on Monday 9th January.

Have a good week guys, good luck next week.
