A terrific season of the Boston Monday 6-a-side league came to a close this week at the Haven High Academy with some great games, as we crown our winners. 

Boston FC’s terrific season in the Premier League sees them lift the top title, as Gylfi Pleasures and Polska Team left us with an incredible 14-goal thriller to end things in the division, the Pleasures coming out on top 8-6.

Boom Xhakalaka managed a second place finish thanks to a crucial 3-2 win over Sons of Pitches in the final game.

Division 1 saw ClassonGrass and Tekkerslovakia clinch promotion after a brilliant title race, the latter coming ever so close to top spot after they beat ClassonGrass 5-3 in the final game. 

Sands United Boston and Canastew Crew picked up thrilling wins to seal their promotion from Division 2. Sands United beat Gerth Glory 5-4, while Canastew Crew picked up a brilliant 8-4 win over the Gingerbread Men. 

We rounded off the season as Average Joes and Diaspora Boston both ended their seasons with wins to finish exactly level on points and clinch promotion, with the Joes managing to just keep their nose in front to win the title on goal difference.
