Boston Monday 6-a-side: New Season Underway!

The Boston Monday 6-a-side league returned in the new year to the Haven High Academy for a brand new season of exciting football, and wasn't the opening matchday the perfect start with some cracking games and bags of goals.  

In the Premier League, we had a blockbuster start with incredibly high-scoring games. Reigning champs Bosh Squad got off to a winning start against their main rivals and runners-up Boston FC, holding them off for a 5-3 win. Allstars Romania rocketed out of the gates, demolishing Hoodrich 14-1, before newly-promoted Gylfi Pleasures edged out Sons of Pitches to win 6-4 to get their campaign off to an electric start. 

FCHasbik steamrolled their way to an 11-1 win against Sands United Boston in Division 1, getting their promotion run off to a flyer. Boom Xhakalaka began their quest to return to the top division with a 4-1 win over Haven't Jota Kulu. Murder on Zidanes Floor started off strong as they won 3-1 against Intermivan. 

Division 2 action with the Torettos racing to a 5-0 win over Real SoSoBad. Canastew Crew crushed Tattoo Crew 7-1 to add to the recently-relegated side's misery, while Tekkerslovakia beat TMA Tekkers 3-0 in a battle of the Tekkers.
