Bank holiday Monday didn’t slow down proceedings in the Boston Monday league whatsoever, as the league continued in full swing at the Haven High Academy. Here’s a look at the key results. 

The Premier League kicked off with a terrific battle between Boom Xhakalaka and Gylfi Pleasures which saw the pair share the spoils after a 2-2 draw.

In Division 1, another terrific encounter followed, as Tekkerslovakia and Murder on Zidane’s Floor went end-to-end in a seven-goal thriller  that eventually went the way of Tekkerslovakia 4-3. 

Division 2 is where the action peaked, and how! After a Sands United Boston beat Canastew Crew 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller, Gerth Glory edged past The Torettos 2-1 and that left Just a Joke to pull off an incredible shock, as they destroyed second-placed Gingerbread Men 17-2 to pick up their first victory of the season in some style. 

Division 3 also brought more goals, with Average Joes and Diaspora Boston remaining locked into a 3-3 draw, before we ended the action with another goal fest between BTown Ballers and Giroud Sandstorm, the former walking away with a 5-3 win.
