Boston Monday 6-a-side: Thrilling as ever!
The ever-exciting Boston Monday 6-a-side league was filled with explosive action once again this week.
In the Premier League, there was one particularly ridiculous result, with Boston FC claiming their first win of the season in style, absolutely annihilating Nottinyourmums Forest 20-2. The reigning champions reminded everyone what they were made of.
AllStars Romania were also rampant, as they crushed Tattoo Crew 14-2 in another ludicrous game. Bosh Squad and Real Ale Madrid played out a 2-2 draw, while Sons of Pitches kept firm atop the table and opened up a one-point gap by beating FCHasbik 5-1.
Division 1 also saw some incredibly entertaining fixtures. Class of 2023 edged past Abiraj Singhers 7-6 in an enthralling opener, before Boom Xhakalaka toppled ImJustBeta 5-1. Fritzls Basement Boys and Lads on Toure locked horns in a titanic battle, with the former coming out 8-7 winners. Who Ate All Depays also won in style, beating Pedoplarks to stay atop the Div 1 standings.
In Division 2, leaders Gylfi Pleasures dispatched Bulgaria 10-2 to keep up the high-scoring theme of the week, as Sands United cruised past Martins Boys 6-1, and The Torrettos and Intermivan were locked in a 3-3 stalemate, while Tekkerslovakia claimed a walkover to keep their place in the promotion spots.
