Exeter Sunday 5 a side end of season!

In a thrilling finale to the Exeter Sunday 5-a-side football league season, Smeg United and Dusty Ballers claimed victories in the Premier League and Division 1 respectively, a fitting climax to 10 weeks of intense competition.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Smeg United claimed the title after producing a spectacular performance, defeating Steau Needarest 7-2. Smeg United finished the season on top with a commanding 17 points after registering 8 wins during the season. Their star performer, Lewis Piper, bagged an impressive 7 goals to finish as the top scorer in the Premier League this week and for the season with 27 in total. His consistent performances throughout the season played a crucial role in Smeg United’s title-winning campaign and also helping him not only lift the Golden Boot but also take the Player Of The Season award.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, Dusty Ballers emerged as champions with a total of 18 points and 9 wins. This week the division saw a high-scoring match between Bikini Bottom Boys and IDIDYAMOTHERWELL, where the latter won the game 12-3, while Roddys Roundup also produced a dominant display, defeating VorX United 12-7.

Despite the impressive performances from the other teams, it was Dusty Ballers that proved the most consistent throughout the season. The standout player in Division 1 was Rodrigo Kelly of Roddys Roundup who stormed the division with a total of 8 goals this week and 34 for the season.

With this final week of the season drawing to a close, we congratulate the winning teams and the top scorers of each division on their well-deserved victories. It's been a season of fantastic football, leaving us eagerly awaiting the next Exeter Sunday 5-a-side football league.
