Exeter Sunday 5 a side end of season!

In an electrifying conclusion to the Exeter Sunday Football league season, the final week saw a flurry of goals and standout performances across both divisions.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Scorinbread United triumphed over Roddys Roundup, netting an impressive 7-3 victory. Meanwhile, Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF showed their dominance by securing a 10-3 victory over champions Tig Bitty Goth Girls. The key player from Whipton was Lucio Gablinger who scored an impressive total of 4 goals in the final match.

The Premier League division was won by Tig Bitty Goth Girls, who ended the season with a commendable 14 points and 7 wins to lift the trophy!

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the matches were just as thrilling. Leave My Arcelona FC put up a strong fight but ultimately succumbed to Steau Needarest, losing 7-4 as Steau sealed promotion. Robbenyourkids FC demonstrated their offensive prowess by defeating Bumblebais 6-2, with Seb Roche scoring a hat trick and emerging as the division's top scorer.

IDIDYAMOTHERWELL and Dusty Ballers clashed in a match that ended in a 3-3 draw, however, the standout player from the match was Edward Mills from Dusty Ballers, who was named the most valued player this week.

Robbenyourkids FC ended the season on a high note, topping Division 1 with 16 points and 8 wins to take the crown. They proved their mettle throughout the season, finishing as deserved champions.

The Exeter Sunday Football League has been an exciting journey of ups, downs, and unexpected twists. Congratulations to all the teams on their sporting display and the winners of each division for their remarkable achievements. As the curtain falls on this season, we will be eagerly awaiting the return of the league on Sunday 6th July.
