Exeter Sunday 5 a side - NEW SEASON

Exeter Sunday's 5-a-side football league kicked off a new season with a bang this week. The games were fast and furious and saw some impressive performances from the players at the beginning of what should be a brilliant season 

In the Premier League division, Steau Needarest battled it out against Bacardi FC, with Steau Needarest coming out on top with a score of 5 - 1. Scorinbread United also had a strong showing, easily taking down Clean Lungs United with a score of 11 - 2. Oldham Pathetic unfortunatly had no game as Exmouth SSC decided to pull out 3 mins before kick off, obviously this isn't acceptable so a new team will take their place from next week. It was a very frustrating 5 - 0 win for Oldham. Finally, Oil Mill-an came up against league champions JP Signs, but couldn't keep up with their opponents' pace and skill, eventually losing 15 - 1.

Overall, the first week of Exeter Sunday's 5-a-side football league was an exciting start to what promises to be a thrilling season. Players and officials alike are already looking forward to next week's matches, as the teams continue to battle it out for supremacy on the pitch.
