The Exeter Sunday Football League exhibited exhilarating performance in its second week with some high scoring clashes setting the stage for an enthralling season ahead.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League Division, football enthusiasts were treated to a nail-biting encounter as Steau Needarest and Scorinbread United battled out an 8-8 draw. The match was a real thriller, with both sides demonstrating exceptional offensive prowess.

In another thrilling match, Smeg United managed to edge out Robbenyourkids FC 8-6, thanks to a superb hat-trick from their top scorer Lewis Piper. Piper’s fantastic performance helped him secure the title of the top scorer in the Premier League Division this week, with the star player netting three goals for Smeg United.

DIVISION ONE

The action was just as intense in Division 1, with IDIDYAMOTHERWELL securing a commanding 9-4 victory over Bonsai United. Jay Woodward was the standout performer, scoring a total of four goals for IDIDYAMOTHERWELL, making him this week's top scorer in Division 1.

Meanwhile, the clash between 5 Guys 1 Cup FC and Bikini Bottom Boys ended in a 3-3 draw, reflecting the competitive spirit of this season's Division 1.

However, the standout performance of the week came from Finley Clarke-Daniels of Smeg United, who was unanimously selected as the most valued player of the week. His tireless efforts on the field and key contributions helped his team secure their win, marking him out as a player to watch this season.
