We had another end to end set of game at our exciting Exeter Sunday 5 a side league. Match day 3 provided plenty of entertainment the title race heats up in both divisions.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Exeter Sunday’s Week 3 Premier League Division saw an exhilarating display of skill and strategy as Stella Fellas FC and Scorinbread United locked horns, ending in a nail-biting scoreline of 8-6 in favour of Stella Fellas FC. A star emerged on the pitch in the form of Rhys Bowden, who single-handedly netted a staggering six goals, leading Stella Fellas FC to victory. Bowden's impressive performance not only earned him the title of top scorer for the Premier League Division, but also the esteemed accolade of the most valued player of the week.
Equally as intense, PD and Tig Bitty Goth Girls met, with PD clutching a slim victory with a final score of 8-7. In another epic meeting Whipton BBQ Kebab House CF and Smeg United battled it out, with the former clinching a 5-4 victory.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Dusty Ballers led a triumphant charge against Bumblebais, securing a solid 9-4 win. Edward Mills, Dusty Ballers' formidable striker, claimed the top scorer title for Division 1 with three goals to his name. In another match, Robbenyourkids FC outclassed Leave My Arcelona FC with an 8-3 victory.
The Week 3 matches proved to be a thrilling spectacle of football, full of unforgettable moments and outstanding performances. Rhys Bowden's brilliant gameplay for Stella Fellas FC will surely be etched in the minds of spectators. Bowden's significant contribution to his team's performance, alongside his scoring prowess, rightfully earned him the crown of the most valued player for the week.
